Where the EFLS fits
Sustained duty where a fan would derate
Servo-ventilation drives the cooling fan independently of spindle speed, so the motor holds its rating through low-rpm passes where a self-ventilated EFL would lose cooling. The step up when the ½" lateral cut runs long and continuous.
Higher power on the same ½" mount
16.5 to 25 kW on the lateral square body that EFL and EFLRA already fit, so more power does not mean redesigning the head. 8,000 rpm available on request where the process needs the speed.
Dust and particles, sealed cooling
The independent fan is an IP68 electro unit, sealed to run in the cutting environment rather than protected away from it, with IP55 on the motor and the interchangeable ½" stainless adapter carried over from EFL.
Need no cooling fan at all, or a full water circuit? The self-ventilated EFL and the water-cooled EFLRA sit on the same ½" lateral mount. Use the motor selector to compare.
