What it's built for
Where the EPRA fits
Continuous wet duty, fully liquid cooled
Water cooling gives the compact ½" body its highest continuous thermal capacity, for runs where even a servo-driven fan is not enough or the spindle sits in an enclosed, hot part of the machine.
Coolant through the tool, sealed and maintenance-light
The contactless rotating water joint delivers coolant through the bored shaft to the tool without contact seals to wear, suited to sustained wet cutting of hard materials at small scale.
Top of the EP cooling ladder, same mount
The water-cooled member of the EP family, on the same ½" compact body as the air-cooled EP and servo-ventilated EP S, so a head built for EP takes the full cooling range without rework.
Where a water circuit is not available, EP S holds sustained duty on servo air and EP runs lighter cuts air-cooled, both on the same ½" mount. Use the motor selector to compare.
