Where the EPS fits
Sustained duty without a water circuit
Servo-ventilation drives the fan independently of spindle speed, so the compact spindle holds its rating through long runs where the air-cooled EP would lose cooling, and it does so without plumbing a water circuit for the motor.
Wet cutting at the edge
The contactless rotating water joint feeds coolant through the tool without seals to service, on the same bored-shaft body as the base EP. For fine, continuous work where coolant has to reach the cut cleanly.
Same ½" mount, cooling matched to duty
Sits between the air-cooled EP and the water-cooled EP 11-RA on one ½" compact body, so the head is designed once and the cooling is specified to the process.
Lighter or intermittent duty needs no fan at all: the air-cooled EP shares the mount. For continuous wet duty, EP 11-RA adds full water cooling. Use the motor selector to compare.
