What it's built for
Where the LCR fits
Automatic tool change on the lateral mount
LCR brings automatic ISO 40/50 tool change to the lateral square-body mount shared with EFL and MACT, so a head built for lateral cutting gains a tool magazine without changing mount geometry.
Sustained duty with heavier ISO tooling
Servo-ventilation holds cooling independent of spindle speed through long automatic cycles, across 11 to 27 kW and ISO 40 on LCR 20 to ISO 50 on LCR 24, for milling that steps beyond hand-changed ½" tooling.
High-load milling, feedback-ready
The stainless bored shaft and contactless integrated joint carry coolant through the tool, and high-resolution encoder feedback (option) supports oriented and interpolated axes.
For manual ½" tooling on the same lateral mount, EFL and EFLS sit below LCR; the water-cooled automatic alternative on that mount is MACR. Use the motor selector to compare.
