Where the MES fits

Full cooling, independent of spindle speed
A self-ventilated motor cools with a fan on its own shaft, so cooling falls away at the low rpm stone cutting runs at. MES drives its fan separately, so cooling stays at full capacity whatever the spindle is doing, down to the slowest cut. That is what lets it hold continuous duty at sustained low rpm.
Continuous-line stone cutting
Where the line runs without stopping and the cut sits at high torque and low rpm through long passes, the independent fan keeps the motor inside its rated envelope. Roughly 60 to 380 Nm across MES 90 to 145 carries deep cuts in hard stone, on the platform built for the duty a self-ventilated frame cannot sustain.
Sealed for the cutting environment, wet or dry
IP65 on the motor and an IP68 fan unit close the drive against the dust and water of a stone line. The separately driven fan is sealed to run in the same environment as the cut, not protected away from it.
Where duty is intermittent or the cut does not sit at sustained low rpm, the self-ventilated ME covers the same applications on the same B3 mount at lower cost to cool. Both take blades to 1,100 mm, 1,200 on request. Use the motor selector to compare across the stone range.
