Where the NDX fits
Oriented operations with automatic change
The patented integrated NDX orientation system holds the spindle at a repeatable angular position, which oriented drilling, boring and automatic tool change all require, built into the spindle rather than added as a separate unit.
High speed, no motor cooling circuit
Self-ventilated to 10,000 rpm with coolant delivered through the tool by the integrated water joint, so there are no water lines to plumb for the motor.
ISO 40 machining-centre integration
Standard ISO 40 (ISO 30 option) with pneumatic 6-bar change on a lateral mount sized for multi-axis heads; 4th C axis available.
For continuous cutting or more power and speed, the water-cooled NDXH spans ISO 30 to 15,000 rpm and up to 18.3 kW. Use the motor selector to compare.
