What it's built for
Where the TO16 fits
The 5-axis wrist for the head
A two-axis A/C rotary head that carries the working spindle, adding tilt (A ±105°) and rotation (C ±225°, ±540° option) to turn a 3-axis machine into a 5-axis one.
Servo positioning with holding brake
Yaskawa, Delta or B&R servomotors drive both axes, each with a holding brake to lock position under load; Siemens drive compatible.
High axis torque for loaded heads
850 Nm on A and 985 Nm on C carry a loaded machining spindle through interpolated 5-axis paths; absolute axis available.
TO16 carries a working spindle, for example a water-cooled MTB or NDX, rather than cutting itself, so the spindle is specified to the material. Use the motor selector to compare.

Upgrade path
Same mount, more capability
All families in this path share the same mount geometry. Design the machine head for the highest capability you might ever need: start with the base family and upgrade without structural rework. Use the motor selector to compare families.
